“Like Clockwork? Multilateralism and International Law in Geneva.” Presented by the ICRC Library, UN Library Geneva, and Geneva Graduate Institute Library. This edition of the IALL annual course will focus on the fields of international law that have developed in conjunction with the work of multilateral organizations based in Geneva, including WHO, the ILO, the WTO, and the ICRC. The course’s program will build upon this unique setting and the wealth of knowledge generated by these organizations. A couple of sessions will also explore how such developments coexist with the Swiss legal system and institutions.

“Enriching Knowledge Societies.” The ICA Abu Dhabi Congress, Enriching Knowledge Societies, will be an opportunity for the global archives profession to share innovative ideas and research and for colleagues from allied and other professions to join the discussion

The American Society of International Law hosts a Midyear Meeting annually. The meeting encompasses several events, including leadership meetings of the Society’s Executive Council and the Board of Editors of the American Journal of International Law; the Research Forum, which features cutting-edge international law scholarship by more than 90 authors; and programming for practitioners.
