This year’s Annual Course in Atlanta will debut a feature new to IALL Annual Courses. Join us on Sunday, October 22, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the pre-conference workshop Well, Isn’t that Special? A How-To Workshop on Creating and Using Archives and Special Collections in a Legal Research Context.
The workshop will include the following sessions:
- PC Session 1: Special Collections: What are They and How do we Build Them?
- PC Session 2: Making Special Collections Accessible to Users: Cataloging and Finding Aids
- PC Session 3: Using Archives and Special Collections in Legal Research [tentative title]
- Guided Tour of the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library
Registration for the workshop is only $25, and materials and light refreshments will be provided. You may register for and attend the workshop as a single, stand-alone event, however, we hope everyone who registers for the workshop will consider joining us for the for the full conference.
