• Information regarding entry into Switzerland and visa requirements.
• COVID-19 information in Switzerland (currently no entry restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic)
• Switzerland is not part of the European Union, so it uses Swiss Francs (CHF), and not Euros (EUR). It is possible to pay in Euros (only notes, no coins) at a 1-1 exchange rate in most shops in Switzerland, and the change will be given back to you in Swiss Francs.
• Switzerland uses type J outlets so you will need an adapter to charge your devices.
• In Switzerland, the cost of service is already included in the price, so tipping is not expected. Rounding up to the nearest round figure is considered a nice gesture.
