The workshop will provide a look at digitization projects from preparation to research application:

Digitization – Learning from the LONTAD project

Workshop participants will receive an overview and expert advice on project management and technical solutions for digitization of collections from the UN Library & Archives Geneva team that has just completed the Total Digital Access to the League of Nations Archives Project (LONTAD).

Digital Humanities – Innovations and new insights

Digitization projects like LONTAD open exciting new possibilities for researchers. The workshop will also include an introduction to digital humanities and a look at innovative use of the digitized collections that carry the potential to unlock new insights into the history of multilateralism.
