The conference is an annual gathering for institutions that are members of the Free Access to Law Movement. These institutions either work to make the laws of their country available to the public, or they are academic institutions which do research in the area. Member institutions represent over 19 countries as well as the E.U.

Keynote speakers include Corynne McSherry, General Counsel for the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Ed Walters, CEO of Fastcase. Presentation topics include development and implementation of standards for preserving and presenting legal information, developments in leal informatics, the state of LII initiatives, and sustainability of open access to law initiatives.
