SCECSAL is a biennial conference, the biggest conference for Library and Information Science professionals on the African continent, and its purpose is to provide a platform for learning and sharing experiences on LIS developments in the region. The theme of the conference is: “Positioning Library and Information services to achieve Sustainable development: Innovations and Partnerships”. Distinguished guests are expected from world bodies such as IFLA, Africa Union, UNESCO, and AfLIA.
