A special thanks to David Wills, Squire Law Librarian, for his proposal to host the 2026 Annual Course. David, a current member of the IALL Board, is supported by a highly capable and enthusiastically engaged Local Planning Committee from the Squire Law Library. The Board Liaison for the 2026 Annual Course is Rebecca Bergstrom, whom many of you will remember as the chair of the Local Planning Committee for the 42nd Annual Course in Oslo, Norway, in June 2024.

The IALL Board and I look forward to seeing many of you at the 43rd IALL Annual Course in Houston, Texas, this coming October, and next year at the 44th Annual Course in Cambridge, UK, in September 2026.

Warm regards,

Mark Engsberg, PhD, JD, MSLIS
President, International Association of Law Libraries
