The International Journal of Legal Information (IJLI) is the official journal of the International Association of Law Libraries (IALL).

The IJLI is published by De Gruyter Brill three times per year (Spring, Summer, and Fall). All IALL members (Individual, Retired, Student, Life, and Honorary) have electronic access to the IJLI as a member benefit. Information about joining IALL is available on the IALL website.
ACCESS INFORMATION:
- Current IALL members who need instructions on how to access current and archived versions of the IJLI via the De Gruyter Brill platform should contact Julienne Grant, Editor-in-Chief, at journaleditor@iall.org.
- For a temporary period, archived issues of the IJLI will also be available to IALL members via the IJLI’s previous publisher, Cambridge University Press (CUP). Current IALL members who need instructions on how to access archived versions of the IJLI via the CUP page should contact Julienne Grant, Editor-in-Chief, at journaleditor@iall.org. Current members who have the CUP password can access IJLI back issues via this link: Access: IJLI on Cambridge Core – IALL.
- Online access to back issues of the IJLI is also available in HeinOnline for subscribers. Back issues are also available online in full text on Westlaw and Lexis for subscribers.
- Some back issues of the IJLI are available open access at https://scholarship.law.cornell.edu/ijli/. These are limited to volume 33:1 (Spring 2005) through volume 38:2 (Summer 2010).
SUBSCRIPTIONS & CLAIMS:
- Print and electronic subscriptions to the IJLI are available to libraries, organizations, and institutions. IALL no longer offers institutional memberships. - Back issues of the IJLI are available online, in print, and on microfiche. Please contact the current editor-in-chief for information on purchasing back issues, journaleditor@iall.org.
SUBMISSIONS:
Authors should submit their manuscripts via De Gruyter Brill’s ScholarOne platform. Authors first need to create an account by clicking on “Create an Account.” Submissions will not be considered unless they are uploaded via the ScholarOne platform.
Authors should submit their manuscripts in MS Word, and footnotes should follow the Chicago Manual of Style (18th edition). Endnotes are not acceptable. Additional submission guidelines are available on the IJLI’s website.

PURPOSE AND EDITORIAL POLICY:
The IJLI aims to promote the global exchange of legal information. With an emphasis on law libraries and the evolving landscape of legal information, the IJLI serves the international community of law librarians, legal scholars, and practitioners through the publication of original articles, conference papers, bibliographies, book reviews, the International Calendar of conferences and events, and other content concerning all aspects of law and law-related information. The views expressed in contributions to the IJLI are the responsibility of the individual authors and do not imply the endorsement of IALL.
PLAGARISM & AI USE:
Every submission to the IJLI will undergo a double-blind, editorial/peer-review process (with at least one external reviewer). Manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism and the possible use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the drafting of the article.
